Welcome to our Kumon Math and Reading Center.
For more than 50 years, Kumonís after-school academic enrichment program has helped children achieve success worldwide. We strive to instill in children the desire to achieve and the motivation to learn on their own. Whether your child is seeking enrichment, needs help catching up or is just beginning his or her academic career, Kumon is designed to help him or her develop a love of learning.

Students advance through the program at their own pace. Our emphasis on individualized learning helps your child become focused, motivated and self-reliant. We monitor each childís progress to ensure comprehension before moving on to a new concept. With a strong academic foundation, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, your child has the potential to achieve whatever he or she desires.

The Kumon Math Program is a comprehensive curriculum that develops the necessary skills to help children progress from counting through calculus. For more information about the Kumon Math Program,

Price and Fees

Our specific rates are provided to parents during Orientation, and we are significantly less expensive than private tutors and "quick fix" types of tutoring programs in the Longmont area.  Our mission at Kumon is to bring the Kumon Method of Learning to as many students as possible.  Therefore, we keep our pricing reasonable for a wide range of parents and budgets.  Over the long run, investing in your child's education through Kumon will pay dividends.  Click on the Success Stories tab to see many of our students' and parents' testimonials.

There is no charge for placement testing, and we do not ask parents to pay a fee to learn the results of the test.  There is a one-time registration and material fee which is discussed at orientation.  We can generally start students in the program within 3-5 calendar days.

The following are policies which applies to all enrolled families :

1- Classes are held on Mondays and Thursdays from 3pm-7pm, and Wednesdays from 3PM - 6PM.  Students select two of the three days to attend and are expected to attend class on both days unless the parents discuss changes with the Instructor in advance.

2 - Whether you are an athlete, musician or Kumon math and reading student, daily practice is essential for success.  Homework is assigned on each student's "just right" level, and should be completed, graded, timed and corrected daily.  The results are entered into the Center Management Software (CMS) and this allows the Instructor to track a student's progress and plan the lesson to his/her individual ability.

3 - Successful progress in Kumon requires parent's active supervision of daily work.  Setting the right study environment, providing positive encouragement, and regularly observing the student will maximize parent's return on investment.

4 - Regular communication between Parents and the Instructor is expected. As at school, the top performing Kumon students are supported by parents who routinely discuss their student's lesson plan, schedule and student-unique learning needs with the Instructor.

5 - Absence - Written notice must be submitted 30 days in advance for a month off from Kumon.

6 - Withdrawal - Written notice must be submitted 30 days in advance to withdraw from the Kumon program.  All answer books and library books must be returned at the end of enrollment in order to avoid additional fees.
